Boheme Venue Hire Information
About the Venue
If you choose to hire our venue, you will have exclusive use of the facilities for the duration of your event.
Dates : Generally the bar is available for hire from 6.30pm – 11pm 7 days a week. If you would like a daytime hire this may be possible depending on date, please contact us to discuss.
Parking : A pay and display car park is available nearby behind the Co-Op and limited free parking is also available behind the shop on the access road.
Public Transport : There are a number of bus routes via Ashley Road that run from Poole to Christchurch.
Capacity : Maximum 50 persons, approx 32 seated. There is also a rear garden which can seat approx 24 people in good weather.
Hours : The venue is available to hire from 6.00pm. Last orders are at 11pm and the venue closes at 11.30pm. We are able to apply for a late licence to open until 2am (see below)
Bar : The bar stocks a range of Beer, Cider and Wine and also a good selection of spirits and cocktails as well as hot and cold drinks and even milkshakes.
Entertainment : We are able to hold background music, live music, Djs and Karaoke until 11pm and have our own PA system and lighting ready to use. Please note that a licence from PRS-PPL may be required.
Food : We are able to provide buffet food with suitable notice. Our standard buffet will include a selection of hot and cold food with mix of meat and vegetarian options (vegan on request)
Staff : We will provide staff for bar service, food service and general duties.
Guide Prices
Standard Venue Hire fee from 6pm – 11.30pm : £200
(for each £100 bar takings we will return £20 of the hire fee to you)
Late Licence fee until 2am (inc. application to council & extra staff hours) : £150
Buffet Food : from £8 per head
Disco from playlist : Free (PRS-PPL license required)
Disco with DJ – POA
PRS-PPL fees if required for live music, disco : £20
Karaoke : including licenses and equipment : £75
All fees are required in advance.
Cancellation
If you wish to cancel, we will return your fees (excluding any money already spent on licences or food) as follows : 28 days notice : 100% of fees returned, 14 days notice : 75% for fees returned, 7 days notice : 50% returned. Less than 7 days notice by negotiation.
