The Food and Drink
Our coffee beans come direct from a local roastery in the heart of Dorset and are selected for their fine quality, ethical origins and phenomenal depth of flavour. As well as coffee we serve a wide range of beverages from milkshakes to craft gins. Our food is lovingly hand made to order from fine local and continental ingredients and our cakes are made in our own kitchen by a professional baker and pastry chef. We also have extensive options for Vegan guests including a wide range of dairy free milks, drink, cakes and meals. All our packaging, cups, straws and other take-away consumables are recyclable or biodegradable and sustainable.
Pizzas are one of the highlights of our menu both during the day and in the evening. These are handmade in the Italian style to order on thin and crispy sourdough bases using only the best quality ingredients. If you only try one thing on our menu, it should be one of these.
At the Bar, we offer a range of premium quality spirits and beverages hand selected to ensure every drink is a memorable one. We have designed our cocktail menu specifically to showcase the ingredients on offer, for example our Espresso Martini highlighting our artisan quality coffee.
The Staff
Our staff play the largest role in creating the unique atmosphere of Boheme. You won’t find uniform wearing robots reading from scripts behind our bar – Boheme staff are like extended family whose individual personalities allowed to shine through. From banter, capers and even occasional dancing behind the bar to laughter and discussion with the customers, we’re certain you’ll feel part of the Boheme family too.
The Music
We are licenced with the PRS to play music of our choosing at Boheme, this means you can enjoy a broad range of genres from soul, blues and funk to indie rock and house music flowing with the mood and sometimes we have evenings featuring live music We just love it when our customers sit back, relax with a drink and enjoy the music.
The Environment
We want Boheme to feel like our customers’ second home. Often quirky by design, we have acquired an interesting collection of curiosities and some really comfy furniture all pulled together with a colour scheme chosen and painted by ourselves. We also have magazines to read and games to play to make your stay as fun and enjoyable as possible. Outside you will find a courtyard garden with plenty of seats and also a pair of beach huts in which to shelter from the sun or the rain. Inside and Outside we allow well behaved dogs and may even have a treat or two waiting for them.
By day, the mood is set for a bustling yet relaxing coffee shop focusing on our homemade cakes. By night we transform the lighting and mood to provide the ideal setting for a speakeasy style bar where the drinks flow as smoothly as the music.
